Mount Nod Governing Body
The core function of our Governing Body is to ensure clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction for the school.
The Governing Body is made up of a group of people who challenge, support and ensure that the school provides the best possible education for all of its pupils. The role of a Governor is voluntary and training is provided in order to help them to carry out this role.
Key Roles:
1. Defining the school’s vision, ethos and strategic direction.
2. Holding the Headteacher to account by supporting and challenging them to deliver the school’s objectives.
3. Ensuring effective use of the school finances.
