Our Nursery

At Mount Nod Nursery the children have the best of both worlds: a dedicated classroom area with its own entrance solely for pre-school, coupled with the opportunity to join in whole school events such as Book Fayre, Nativity play, special assemblies and more.

The nursery has its own wonderful, well-equipped, outdoor play-area available all year round. We also have use of the Foundation Stage Forest School on site. There is always a qualified teacher, proven to give children the best start in education and teaching and a teaching assistant in the classroom, planning exciting activities and assessing the children within the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.

During the summer term, there are regular opportunities to link with the staff and children  in the Reception class which eases transition into the main school.

We currently offer five morning sessions (15 hours) which are Government funded and childcare sessions in the afternoons. The Government's Thirty Hour offer can be used at our Nursery and  for further information please contact Mrs Smith in the school office.
