Year Three and Four Greek Day
A fantastic day was enjoyed by children, parents and staff as "History off the Page" turned Mount Nod into an Ancient Greek city for the day.
The Italian Job - MN celebrates European day of Languages
A variety of exciting activities from cooking, recording tracks in Italian to nursery children taking orders for pizza delivery were part of this special day.
Year Five's Natural Art Gallery
Year five worked in teams to create these fantastic pieces of art work, inspired by the natural artist Andy Goldsworthy.
Year 6 Production 2013
Superb acting, enthusiastic singing and hilarious comedy moments were enjoyed by the audiences during both performances of this year's show. Staff and parents alike praised the children for their hard work in putting together such a wonderful show.

Reception Graduation 2013
There were big smiles on the faces of children, parents and staff at Mount Nod today on one of our favourite days of the year - Reception Graduation Day!
Tom Wood visits Mount Nod
Former pupil Tom Wood visited us after his successful tour of South America as England Rugby Captain. An electric atmosphere greeted Tom in the special assembly. We can truly say that today Tom "inspired a generation."
2013 Cheerleading National Championships
Every June our cheerleading squads head off to Manchester to compete. This year they came home with two second places and a fifth! Fantastic!
A Taste of India for Year 3/4
The wonderful aroma of samosas tempted us all during year three and four's day of Indian cooking. They also experienced an afternoon learning Hindi, all part of their "Around the World" topic.
Sports Days 2013
We love our sport at Mount Nod and this June we are celebrating National School Sports Week with sports days in every phase. Parents, of course, add to the atmosphere with plenty of encouraging cheers!
Year Four overnight camp
Year four braved the wind and the rain on their overnight camp. The "Around the World" themed evening included cooking a Mexican meal and singing around the campfire as well as creating Aboriginal style art.
Year Five overnight camp and activity day at Rough Close
Children in Year Five enjoyed the sunshine at Rough Close on their overnight camp and activity day. After rising early, a hearty breakfast was enjoyed before beginning the activities of archery, climbing, cart building, and cooking. Staff and children all agreed that the memories made were very special ones!
Coventry Inspiration Book Awards
We are proud of all the reading we do at Mount Nod. As part of this, our children enter the Coventry Inspiration Book Awards annually. For the third year in a row, our team won first prize for their presentation. The keen youngsters were invited to a dazzling event at St Mary's Guildhall, where they received their award and met Sir Quentin Blake! How exciting!
Literally Coventry Book Festival
Mount Nod supported the Literally Coventry Book Festival in June. Three separate groups of children attended author events at St John Vianney school, Parkgate school and Central Library. It was fantastic to see our children so excited about their experiences on return to school. We look forward to the city's festival in 2014!
